On WFAN Wednesday, Mike Francesa revealed that ESPN is producing a "30 for 30" film about Mike & The Mad Dog. Francesa shared the news during a visit from former ESPN host Bill Simmons, who Francesa says he called about co-hosting after Chris Russo left the show for SiriusXM. Simmons said it was one of the best calls he's ever received, and thought it was a prank. Simmons could not accept because he had just signed a long-term deal. Simmons also told Francesa that the NFL got him fired from ESPN. He now works at HBO. Listen to the interview HERE.
