A Delay In The Entercom Lincoln Deal

1-16-15

It was expected that Entercom would take over the 15 stations its purchasing from Lincoln Financial Media by mid-January. In an 8-K filing this week, Entercom voluntarily withdrew its notification and report forms filed with the Federal Trade Commission and DOJ under the Hart-Scott Rodino Antitrust Act. They were originally submitted on December 15th. Entercom will be resubmitting the paperwork within 48 hours giving the FTC and the DOJ an additional 30 days to review the transactions. No reason was cited for the additional time in the 8K filing. Entercom is purchasing the 15 Lincoln stations for $105 million.
