iHeartMedia announced Thursday that Rod Phillips will now lead its Nashville-based iHeartCountry team. Phillips previously served as iHeartMedia's Senior VP of Programming for the Southeast Region, PD and on-air personality for KISS 103.5 in Chicago, and Operations Manager for iHeartMedia's Miami-Ft. Lauderdale cluster. In 2011 Phillips helped develop The Bobby Bones Show, which started out in the Top 40 format and is now a successful nationally-syndicated Country music morning show.
