35-year radio sales vet Patty Reilly-Murphy announced her retirement Wednesday. The majority of those 35 years have been spent at WXRT/Chicago, most recently serving as the station's general sales manager. She tells Chicagoland Radio & Media that the decision to retire was entirely her own and unrelated to the recent CBS Radio layoffs. Reilly-Murphy's final day at the station will be August 28.
