Radio One Radio Revenue Drops 9.4%


With overall net revenue of $105.8 million, Radio One was the second major radio company in two days that report a big drop in the first quarter. The 9.4% decline in Radio One's radio division was blamed on the company's four largest markets, Atlanta, Baltimore, Houston and Washington D.C. Station operating income for the quarter was $36.6 million, up 4.0% Net loss was approximately $18.5 million or $0.39 per share compared to net loss of $25.2 million or $0.53 per share, for the same period in 2014.
