10-5-14

In a filing with the SEC yesterday, the Radio One Board of Directors approved salaries for its top executives through 2016. Founder and Executive Chairperson Cathy Hughes will be paid a salary of $1 million and she's eligble for a $500,000 bonus. President and CEO Alfred Liggins (pictured here) will be paid a base salary of $1.25 million and he's eligible for a bonus of $1.25 million. Both Hughes and Liggins are also given "periodic personal use of a private aircraft up to a maximum of 25 hours per year," depending on the company's financial position. For the first half of 2014, Radio One revenue has decreased approximately 5%.
