Remember when Bubba The Love Sponge and Todd Schnitt were in court over name-calling? At the time Bubba's attorney's were accused of setting up Schnitt's attorney, Phil Campbell, for a DUI charge when a paralegal fed him drinks at a local bar and Campbell got into his car and drove. A judge has rejected a plea deal that would have kept three attorneys -- Stephen Diaco, Robert Adams and Adam Filthaut -- from going to court for the setup case. Channel 10 in Tampa reports the judge said the deal the attorneys sought was unacceptable and not harsh enough.

I'm sorry, I don't care WHO bought the drinks. If Captain Stupid drank the drinks and jumped into his car, without the purchaser holding a gun to his head, it's a legit DUI! Would it have been different if he'd bought the drinks himself? Absolutely not. Captain Stupid had plenty of options. From not accept the drinks in the first place to calling a cab because he chose to drink them.
