Michael Fischer is joining Sun Broadcast Group as strategic development advisor, working with Sun's programming and digital departments. Fischer will oversee Shazam for Radio offerings and development of the Shazam Top 40 countdown shows. Fischer heads to Sun following his tenure as SVP of music and content at Clip Interactive, and was previously SVP of engagement at Triton Digital.
SVP of Digital at Sun Broadcast Group Ed Rivera-Searles, comments on the appointment, "We are focused on bridging the gap for radio listeners by developing interactive content that will be activated by our radio station partner's programming assets.
