The new YouTube paid subscription service preparing to launch later this year is having trouble getting some of its content partners to sign up, Digiday reports. According to the story, YouTube was looking to make deals with a number of video publishers and multichannel networks late last year. The Google owned company asked them to sign a "subscription offerings amendment" making YouTube content available through their paid service. The Digiday intelligence notes that several of YouTube's current content partners have been heistant to make their mark sealing the deal.
