Townsquare Has High Hopes For Q2

5-7-15

CEO Steven Price says he's very pleased with the results his company put on the board in the first quarter and gave some hope the second quarter will be even brighter. Cold weather was to blame for fewer selling days in January, February, and March, and that resulted in a flat local ad revenue quarter for Townsquare. While overall company net revenue increased $2 million (2.5 percent) to $81.1 million, local advertising revenue decreased $200K (0.3 percent) to $65.1 million. Live events revenue increased $400K (5.1 percent) to $8.2 million, and other media and entertainment revenue increased $1.8 million (29 percent) to $7.9 million. Price expects the second quarter revenue to increase in the high-single digits.

Look, a broadcaster that's actually reporting growth!!

Digital is critical at TSM and that's why they will continue to deliver good results. Cumulus? Not so much.
