Flood Knocks 3 Cumulus Stations Off The Air

2-19-15

WCVB reports three Worcester stations owned by Cumulus were knocked off the air for hours Thursday after a frozen pipe burst and flooded their building. WWFX, WXLO and WORC went down for hours Thursday morning after the incident. WWFX host Bruce Palmer said the crashing sounds were so loud he heard them in a soundproof studio. Management says the stations were heavily damaged and the WXLO studio might be a total loss. The stations are now back on the air.
