WBZZ PMD Jock Flick Homeless Again

2-17-2015

Last year 100.7 Star partnered with The Salvation Army to bring awareness to homelessness in Pittsburgh by having afternoon co-host Flick live in a 4x8-foot plexiglass box downtown for three days. Flick is doing it again this year near the MassMutual Pittsburgh Ice Rink in downtown Pittsburgh.

Flick will once again be experiencing some of the hardships of living homeless. The afternoon host will have minimal shelter and heat, and the same food provided to the homeless by The Salvation Army. Flick comments on the promotion,  "Living in a four-foot-by-eight-foot plexiglas box 12 hours a day and staying in a homeless shelter at night was not easy, but it's nothing compared to challenges that people who are actually homeless face day in and day out.  If doing this for three days again this year helps to educate and inspire more people to help, it's more than worth it."
