Owner Of WHTG in New Jersey Dies


Faye Gade, the owner of Jersey Shore radio station WHTG-FM has died, according to an article on Diffuser. Gade took over ownership of WHTG in the '80s from her parents and transitioned the signal to alternative rock in 1984. WHTG was one of the earliest alt rockers on the air in the US. According to the New Jersey Broadcasters Association, she died "after a long illness."
