The $681,575 donated was an unprecedented amount. Thanks to all who have helped make our world a better place through the commitment to the Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia. For the 13th year, we?re overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity of our 98.1 WOGL listeners and clients.?
?We are truly grateful to WOGL and the many volunteers, staff, and sponsors who have worked so hard to make this year?s event so successful,? said Steven M. Altschuler, MD, chief executive officer of the Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia. "It is because of their dedication, drive, and tireless efforts that the radiothon has continued to grow. It is incredible to see such strong community support for vital programs like Social Work and Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy, that are instrumental in helping children and their families during a hospital stay."
