WGTZ/Dayton Rebrands to Soft Rock 92.9


Alpha Media/Dayton, adult-hits Fly-92 rebrands to Soft Rock 92.9, with music positioning remaining mostly intact, but with more of an AC slant. 92.9 will maintain a "more music, less talk" positioning, with a slight shuffling of the on-air staff. Dan Edwards and Danielle remain, with Edwards handling morning drive and Danielle moving to afternoon drive. Market veteran Paul Ellis joins the staff to fill middays.

Alpha Media Executive VP of Programming, Scott Mahalick commented on the announcement, saying, "We are thrilled to be able to fill this music void in the Dayton market and bring a live and local connection to the community at the same time with our stellar on-air line up."
