Entercom Q2 Revenue Flat


CEO David Field said the sluggish advertising environment continues when he reported Q2 revenue of $78.4 million which was flat when compared to one year ago. Field said there was some improvement during the back half of the quarter and local was slightly better than national. Entercom's five best-performing advertising categories were retail, financial services, insurance, TV/cable, and entertainment. Auto advertising was flat and the telecom category performed poorly in Q2. Boston, Portland, Buffalo, and Milwaukee were Entercom's best-performing markets.
